Glasgow city is about circa 31 miles to the west and (as with most large cities) has an extensive range of retail districts, professional services, higher and further educational services. The Fort, Braehead and Silverburn retail villages are just outside the city of Glasgow.

Travel Directions
From Glasgow proceed in an easterly direction on the M8 for 28 miles to reach Junction 4. Take the exit at Junction 4 turning left on the A801. Continue for 4.4 miles. At the roundabout turn left following signs Westfield and Avonbridge onto the B8047. Continue on the B8047 which becomes the B8028 for 1.6 miles then turn right onto the minor road. Continue for 0.3 miles to find the entrance to Strath House on the right hand side.

From Edinburgh, joining the M8 at the city bypass, proceed for a distance of 14 miles to reach Junction 4. Take the exit at Junction 4 turning right onto the A801 then follow directions as above.

From Edinburgh via the M9, join the M9 at Newbridge, proceed in a north westerly direction for 12 miles taking the exit at junction 4 onto the A801. Continue for 4 miles then turn right onto the B8047 following signs Westfield & Avonbridge. Then follow directions above.
