Description
Acharn House
Acharn House is a detached country estate house set amid parkland type grounds. It is of substantial stone construction under a slated roof, with high pitch dormer apexes, the soffits
of which are intricately carved to the front elevation.
An extension is to the rear elevation and
blends well with original architecture. The accommodation is laid out across two well-
presented levels and the home is well set up for family and guest entertaining and living.
Internally, there is good use of heritage tiling and ceramics, hardwood flooring, Regency
cornicing and plaster work, all teamed with a fresh neutral palette of décor. The house has
been completed with Swedish triple glazing, biomass heating and greater than regulation-required levels of insulation creating high levels of thermal retention, all combining to improve the efficiency of Acharn House.
The package of assets at Acharn House are currently income producing, and there may be scope (subject to planning permission) to increase the enterprise. The assets also lend themselves well toward multi-generational family living and given the level of accommodation and the situation of great natural scenic beauty the assets could easily be conceived as a wedding and guests venue destination.
