Situation
26 Ardenfield is located in the pretty coastal hamlet of Ardentinny which is part of the ribbon settlement that runs south to north along the western side of Loch Long in the west of Scotland.

From its fine coastal position there are spectacular waterscape views over Loch long to its neck that connects with the upper Firth of Clyde, and east to the Rosneath Peninsula and south to Gourock on the mainland.

Ardentinny has a church and the nearest local provisions store and post office is at Strone. The nearby coastal hamlet of Kilmun has a hotel with excellent bistro restaurant and a historic church and mausoleum.

Dunoon, 12.5 miles away, has more extensive facilities as well as a library, hospital, leisure centre and swimming pool. Greenock, (by ferry crossing), is about 13.5 miles, and the Braehead retail village at 33 miles, offer many of the major high street multiples.

There is a regular bus service to Dunoon and a frequent car & passenger ferry service from Dunoon with trains from Gourock to Glasgow.

There is a primary school in Strone and both further primary and secondary schooling in Dunoon. Some children in the area attend the independent school of St Columba’s in Kilmacolm and a private bus service is in operation from Gourock.

Set within the National Park and the Argyll Forest, 26 Ardenfield is a short drive from the towering Californian redwoods at Benmore and the stunning beauty of the freshwater Loch Eck. Salmon and sea trout run the nearby River Eachaig.

The area is renowned for its great natural scenic natural beauty with many miles of quiet roads, forest trails and hillside tracks.

For sailing enthusiasts, the Firth of Clyde offers some of the most scenic sailing in Western Europe and there are marina and chandlery services at The Holy Loch, Port Bannatyne, Portavadie, Inverkip and Largs.

As with most parts of Scotland one is never too far from a golf course and 26 Ardenfield is no exception, the Blairmore and Strone Golf club are a short way along the coast from Ardentinny.

From Glasgow city centre leave in a westerly direction on the M8 motorway. Continue for 21 miles to arrive at Port Glasgow. From the initial contact, during the sales meeting and then throughout the sale of our property, we found the staff at Robb Residential to be professional and very personable. We were very happy with the interest generated and with the rather interesting final outcome.

We are really looking forward to Elliston House. I’ve lost count of how many trades I have scheduled for visits during the first week and I can’t wait to renovate the house over the next couple of years.  Elliston is something special and I’m so...

Karen and Michael

what our customers say

Although Nicole was acting for the seller, we had regular contact throughout the process as she sought to ensure that the sale moved forward. It was a very stressful process for everyone involved and Nicole was fantastic in being the central co-ordination in her support...

Having been let down on a number of occasions, we decided to move to this company. Our house is on the west coast of Scotland and we are based in Norfolk, so it is very important to us that they deal with things locally. And they have. They organised the installation of a new Calor tank, replacing the roof, redecoration and many other "routine" tasks. I cannot recommend them highly enough as a company that makes things happen without nagging. They are brilliant and I would 110% recommend them to anyone looking for a letting agent. Particular mention to Rachel who is my direct contact. She is utterly, almost ruthlessly, dependable and understands that I want the best for my tenants as well as myself.

Having just moved from Wiltshire to Scotland in search of my dream rural property in the West Highlands, I was delighted to come across my current tenancy for which Robb Residential was the agent. They made the process as smooth and seamless as it could possibly have been, communicating the whole way through with updates on the property. All around genuine nice folks who seemed earnestly please about us getting into this home that we love so much. Thanks!!
