Continue on the M77 for about 8 miles and leave the M77 at junction 5, then at roundabout take the exit on to the A726. At Belle Craig roundabout take the 2nd exit on to the A726 signposted East Kilbride/Hamilton. At roundabout take the 1st exit then merge onto the A727 signposted Busby. Continue forward on to the B766 and continue forward on to the A727. At roundabout take the 1st exit on to Peel Road signposted Thorntonhall. Proceed along Peel Road until reaching and turning left onto Braehead Road. Proceed along Braehead Road, after 0.3 miles bear right onto Thornton Road, continue out of the village for a further 0.5 miles to find Thornton Farm Cottage on the right hand side.
